Cityscapes at Night
OK, our last post was about an outing I did close to home experimenting shooting the city of Hamilton at night. So, this is part 2.
I found a new location to shoot the Hamilton skyline from that I wanted to try.
Some things about this shot:
1. It's a 3-shot panorama stitched in Lightroom.
2. Exposures were 13 seconds each, to get some movement to the smoke coming out of the stacks.
3. I have an older tripod head, with only one control knob. Shooting more panoramas makes me wish for a head with more control, so I can just pan the head. Add it to the 'Wish List'!
4. Always keep an eye out for new locations to shoot from!
