Smokey Hollow Falls
Went out yesterday morning to photograph Sherman Falls, but nothing to show for it.
First, it started raining, which is fine. In fact, I love shooting in the rain! But, it was raining pretty hard and I was not fully prepared for it. My fault for not packing properly for the outing.
Second, we're in that transition period between the beauty of fresh snow and the new, colourful spring growth. Right now everything seems to be brown and blah.
So, let's look at an image from last year at Smokey Hollow Falls in Waterdown.
I love the look of the water in this image, plus it was a new angle of shooting the falls. I only climbed up there because I was talking to another photographer who said he really liked this angle!
As much as I like to, and normally shoot alone, sometimes it pays to talk to people! :)
