Cold night, and lots of snow coming! I was lazy in the morning so knew I should get out and shoot. Went to the Jolley Cut to see the city at night. Was also planning on going to Sam Laurence Park but my fingers got too cold.
What I Learned
1. Dress warm! Even if you're not going far.
2. Don't be lazy! Get out and shoot whenever you can.
3. Tripods - The railing on the Jolley Cut is tall! My tripod just reaches above it. A little more height would have been nice for the panorama. I kept getting the railing in my shots. Also, a tripod head with separate controls for panning and motion would help. It was hard to keep the image level. I shot wider knowing I'd probably have to crop the image when combining the panorama.
